Yes, it's old but it was the last one that fitted on internal memmory. Since the later maps outgrown the internal memory, the only option is SD cards. I do have some spare 16Gb class 10 card I use for video and was wondering if they would work in the unit? Probably an overkill but just thinking out aloud.

Not overkill at all. If it's spare anyway then use it for all/any extra maps & just leave the internal as is. |

| It will work fine with a class 10 card, we usually recommend class 6, any higher and the device doesn't seem to go any faster but if you have a class 10 sat around spare it won't do any harm in the TomTom - Mike |

Map Europe V880.3808, Release date 10/2011
