Battery loose? What temperatures are OK?

Hi there!
I bought the RBT unit just few days ago...
Had it left inside a car yesterday, and it seems to me that now - if I rattle the unit - I hear the battery playing loose (like it doesen't fit well).
I'm not sure if it was caused by high temperatures that were in the car (sunny day), but I'm not really comfortable with taking the RBT apart so I'm just wondering if this is normal behaviour. Is it difficult to take the cover off? I might want to fix the battery in place.

P.S: beyond what temperature one should expect some major damage being inflected to the unit? All I found was 60° declared as top usage temperature.

This isn't usual, we have 3 RBT's and none of them rattle in this manner. The 60 degrees you'll find is Fareheit and not Centigrade, so heat shouldn't be an issue.
