Tom Tom Go 910 Help needed please

Can some one tell me if it is possible to upgrade to the latest style map with lane guidance etc.... after all it is just a hard disc with software installed on sat nav's...

Or is it Tom Tom want people to upgrade and by the latest product...

Yes I would like one of the newer ones with the bigger screen etc but when I purchased my Go 910 it was top of the range with bluetooth 40Gb HD etc and cost me some £400 when it first came out

I am not so keen on making it redundant..

Can anybody help please?

Sadly its not possible, whilst the device has the capacity to store the maps with the additional data it doesn't have the extra memory (RAM) to reliably run the application with IQ Routes and reality view/ lane guidance which come with the maps - Mike

Thanks for the reply of course I should have guessed its like a pc graphics ram etc etc....costantly updated and higher spec...
