so it's 20:14 on the 23rd - they day in TT land must now be over... assuming they all work 11am until 1pm with a 2hr lunch break....
AND NO APP IS HERE.....
I have spend 8 months putting up with my "Not quite LIVE" service on my Go 540 and I think I had worked myself up so much in anticipation of a connected device again I'd even completed a full back-up in good faith...
Just should have known that I'd be let down by a TT promise |

All sounds a bit like Judgement Day on the 21st - that never arrived either... _________________ David

Same here.
Terrible customer service from Tomtom again, email clearly said :
"To get the update, all you need to do is connect your device to TomTom HOME from 22 May"
Soon will be 24 May and still no update. |

When it has been many months, why do people get so worked up about another day or two's delay and post the same message in other forums? Time on their hands etc. _________________ Drivelux |

New application update available this morning. Now on v10.200 after accepting it for my GO1000Live. Maybe, I will see improvement in HD Traffic now
(Edited for clarity - changed "v200" to "v10.200" - AP) _________________ Gee-Pee

Nothing on HOME2 yet, these updates (above) were via MyTOMTOM... _________________ Gee-Pee

Maybe I should have let GeePee post this himself, but he just found this on the
TomTom discussion board.

TomTom now say that there is NO APPLICATION UPDATE. The email was both badly worded AND was only meant to go to people whose device was not on the latest application version.
TomTom have made internal improvements to the way they collect / distribute the traffic information. To ensure that you are able to take advantage and best use this information, the latest version of the application should be installed on your device. The email was only meant to encourage people to update their sat nav to bring it up to date. |

Where's DennisN's emoticon of someone rolling around the floor in hysterical laughter. If ever it was relevant......... _________________ Mike R [aka Wyvern46]

Maybe it will! If you have the latest application on your XXXXX device and have a sub to HD Traffic you should _________________ Gee-Pee

If I was going to rip off a map it wouldn't be a Tomtom one. _________________ Mike R [aka Wyvern46]
