When they say 'after the 22nd May', I think they mean from 23rd May - rather clumsy phrasing [presumably written by one of their programmers Cool ]. TT never do downloads at the w/end. Fingers crossed for tomorrow.

What they actually said was "From 22 May 2011". However, I agree with you that there intentions were to make it available from Monday 23rd - cannot imagine anyone getting up on a Sunday to make that available. Wink

EDIT: Update.... I have just seen the FULL text of that notice from TT and at the bottom of the diag. box, there is a link to TT HOME2.8 which in my estimation means it is for pre v10 devices. Bang goes my theory that I would be getting an update tomorrow for my GO1000Live. Sad

I have been trying to interpret that email advice Confused I am wondering if we are all on the wrong track..... bearing in mind the email had/has a link at the bottom which takes you to HOME2, could it just be they are trying to ensure we are updated with the latest Application to ensure that the HD traffic which is provided to the device wirelessly (LIVE) is the latest traffic application Idea Question .
eg my App on my GO950Live is currently 9.058.568435 which I think is the latest which means (if this theory is right) that I need do nothing as my Live services will be the latest.

Just a thought.

I've just edited your topic title to reflect this... Smile

You could further edit by placing 'Complete Failure to Deliver Promised' in front of the current post subject.

An intrepid little soul on TT's own forum asked customer services where the download is. They said later today, but perhaps better to try tomorow. He misguidedly drew comfort from this.

To me it sounds like Manana [wiggly thing over second 'a']

I haven't received any emails about HD Traffic improvements, but as previously mentioned I did get an application update for my 1000 but have no idea what has changed, but another thread suggests it's for map update improvements, but this has arrived after the 870 map release, so makes no sense.

Maybe they have stopped development for the older x50 models, just as they did with the x20/x30 models?
