navman 3000 reception lockup

Hi

This is a new problem i have been experiening with the Navman 3000.
I am using it with TT3. I would be driving following the instructions and all of a sudden TT3 looses its signal. I first thought that there were no sats about so thought nothing of it. Then i checked the GPS status button in TT3. Under the Status tab i noticed that the icon that constantly moves across showing that the navman is trying to look for a sat has stopped half way???
If i go to the GPS tab and uncheck the box to use the device and re-check it. Then it tends to kick back in to working order.

Does anyone have a similar problem or fix?

I have the NAVMAN serial driver 3.1.6 installed and the GPS driver version 2.09 305/393

I wouldn't use GPS 2.09 with Navigator 3 - I'd uninstall that version (Start Menu, Settings, Remove Programs, select TomTom ~ GPS, tap Remove, soft reset if you're not asked to press OK to do so, then repeat), and install version 2.07 from the downloads section of this web site. Does that help any?
