Hi Pete,

I gave the prog a good testing last week and managed to pick a route covering over 200 miles which included at least 1 of every camera type, everything worked perfectly.

If you were still working on the project, i would recommend the option to disable the voice warnings with a tick box or similar. Usually i don't use them as they get on my ti*s going off up to 4 times for every camera, so i assume that the wav files just need to be deleted form the csv directory to prevent the voice warning being uploaded to my Nuvi?

I still experienced warnings about cameras even though they were on the other side of the road and not used for my direction of travel, not sure if this is common on all camera systems.

Other than those minor things, it's a great working system, well done and many thanks for the effort.

Regards

Tony

Thanks Smile

To remove the voice warnings you actually have to remove the .WAV or .MP3 files from the working directory when using the Garmin POI Loader, I have no control over that.

Cameras on the other side of the road has been a bugbear of most of the SatNav devices for some time now. If only Garmin would allow access to directional data.
If you set the option to remove duplicate cameras it does remove some of the duplicate warnings you get when there are cameras on the same gantry of a motorway for example.

I've been doing some further testing and I'm now running with a 12 second approach warning with the 'bongs' removed from my WAV files as I couldn't hear them anyway with the radio on, Liz is crystal clear though.

As far as I can tell it's all working as expected so I'm going to upload it to the company server. I have one PM to send with the link.

Hi,

I'm also interested in trying out this program. Many thanks in advance.

Thanks for uploading the .exe and help guide. I have subscribed today to the database and have successfully used the program. It works very well. I have created a file to load into my SatNav and try this this evening.
Thanks for a great application and your time to upload this for me.
Regards
Neil
