I've been using Mapsource to make some tracks with the gpx-extension. I can't find out the way to put these tracks into CoPilot Live 8 android. I've found out some suggestions to convert the gpx-file into an ov2-file but still I can't see the tracks in CP, so it still doesn't work.

Can anyone give me the right solution?

Can't see how CoPilot could ever handle a track, it's simply not supported. It can import points, in .csv or .ov2 but not a track, that is a feature of a traditional GPS and not a navigation app.

What are you trying to achieve?

Hello Darren,

What I'm trying to achieve is the following:

I'd like to make a tour with a camper through New Zealand and make routes or tracks with Mapsource for everyday I want to make a trip.

In order to visit the hightlights and travel from camping to camping without searching and make the exact routes or tracks that I'd like to drive, I thought this would be possible because CoPilot has GPS tracking.

I hoped I could put the routes/tracks in the GPStracks map of Co Pilot or in the Save-map of New Zealand. I read somewhere that I had to convert my Mapsource extension (gpx) into ov2, so I did, but that does not work until now. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

If you have a solution of any kind that makes my wishes possible ......please don't hesitate to mention.

What you are trying to achieve isn't possible in CoPilot as far as I am aware.

I'm not sure how you would achieve what you want, most navigation apps are designed to get you from A to B in the best way they can find, not to guide you along a route that you have pre-planned.
