Dialable Telephone Numbers in POI Datasets

Making telephone numbers dialable within POI data.

I currently use POI data in ov2 format to import into my Co-Pilot Live (v8.2.0.407). This has proven to now to be successful.

I've noted that some POI datasets have a telephone number which, from with the Co-Pilot program is dialable by just tapping the icon then pressing the call button.

Entering the telephone number into the POI data is not a problem as I can bring it up from the icon and read it as text. What I really need to be able to do is to make that number dialable as in your (pocketgpsworld) POI datasets.

The POI dataset I'm building is a company one so will only be for internal use.

Does the data need special compiliing or am I missing something in the formatting.

Can anyone help here please.

Hi ripeda,

Have a read of the Add Telephone Numbers to POIs thread.

It works for OV2 files on a TomTom, so it should be OK for OV2 files on Co-Pilot.
