Possibly in just one reply post such as below, but probably more detailed frome someone more knowledgable than I
I don't think you can unblock roads that are shown as one way in the map data. You should submit a change to the map provider, but don't expect it to be corrected anytime soon, unless they are already on to it . |

Then I wonder why cabmanuk is having problems unblocking it? |

This is on the 865 map on my 910. _________________ Richard

I haven't got a 100x model, but didn't I read somewhere here that they do map corrections differently? Something about not changing the map on the device directly, but having to progress via TT servers? Is mapshare available for the 100x yet? _________________ Mike R [aka Wyvern46]

Nope... works exactly the same for corrections on your own device.
They are implemented immediately.
But the uploading and downloading (the "sharing" bit) doesn't work yet. |

I am also a London Taxi Driver , and I devised a workaround for the Cannon St. / Friday St. / Queen Victoria St layout
Because you can't change the way the map shows the previous road layout you have to trick it into giving you different routes
make EVERY part of Friday Street 2 way Including the triangular islands at the top and bottom
make EVERY part of Cannon St. above Friday St. 2 way
make the whole of Queen Victoria St. 2 way INCLUDING both sides that head to and from the Bank Junction
There are lots of short sections of Cannon St so there are a lot of changes to the traffic direction to be made.
You may have to change turn restrictions also |

I hope those dont EVER get Shared.
Surely in this case it would just be easier to do what you know and ignore your tomtom? Now you risk lots of other errors now?
I have a junction near here that isn't displayed exactly correct but I know what I need to do from the instruction even though it's not displayed correctly. |

Hello mate why would it cause more errors? |

Well, if I've understood it correctly you've effectively undone several one way roads in the area so if you approach from a different direction will it not now try to send you the wrong way down one way roads etc? Especially round the triangle junctions? |

As far as I know the roads that I have corrected should be ok
I have only changed the directions on the roads and have not changed the triangle junctions. |

The point is, ALL these roads have been reverted to being TWO WAY
As to 'taking the route one knows to be right' One could do that easily but these changed routes have a far wider effect on route planning than you might realise.
(edited to insert omitted word and bad punctuation)

Ah I see! I thought it was just one section of road that was mis represented leading to a round the houses route rather than a direct route. |
