Just read Darrens review of the Garmin 2360. Like Darren I have some experience of different models and came to rest on the Tomtom as it operates in the way that suits me. But I am always looking for something that may be better as so far I haven't found the perfect device. There are probably 3 things over and above the expected functions that I need to know about in a review.
1. The reroute time whilst driving. (Quick slow!)
2. The position update speed/time when driving around complicated roundabouts. I often exit a roundabout before the satnav catches up. Unfortunately not always the correct exit. Does the TT1005 uprated processor improve this?
3. The ability to use POI very much as the Tomtom does. Being able to switch on/off categories to reduce clutter.
Darren I would appreciate if you can mention the above in reviews please.

Having recently moved up to a larger motorhome I now have some additional requirements.
1. Weight limited roads.
2. Low bridge warnings.
3. Vehicle size and road widths.
I know there are some satnavs out there that incorporate the above but without buying each one it is difficult to know which is best. I have seen one unit that had these facilities but the routing was not so good. Also the TomTom 7000 (Truck) is too expensive. I guess that the units depend on map data being available so which map supplier gives the best Map data for driving in Europe?
Any Unit/Map recommendations appreciated.

Ron
