Clear Route no sound

Any ideas please I have a 730T when I go to "Clear Route" I don't get sound telling me so. I'm sure this used to tell me or was I dreaming? It still clears the route just no audible.

No, no audible sound is associated with the Clear Route function on that model. Just a visual confirmation.

Have you got 'Read Aloud Warnings' ticked in 'Speech preferences'. That should then say 'Route cleared'.

My 530T speaks "Route Cleared" when I clear a route and a message box with the same text also appears at the top right of the screen.

Thank You. It was that "read aloud warning" unticked. As much as I looked I could not find it. Old age I suppose.
