Can anyone help pls ? Just updated PGPSW speed cameras on my GO530 and added some extra POI's from PGPSW. Now when I go to 'details' - 'browse map of route' I can't see any of my POI's on the map....although when I start to use the satnav the POI's appear on the route and function ok !

How do I get the POI's to show up again on 'browse map of route' screen please ? I have them tagged as 'Show POI on Map' ok.

Thanks a lot
Mike

If you have the POI categories enabled for showing on the map then the only other thing that can prevent them displaying correctly is if you have the screen zoomed out too far - Mike

Thanks for the quick reply Mike. Nope the POI's won't show up on any zoom level - even in max magnification they just aren't there - but strangely once you start to navigate they pop up on the navigation screen enroute ?

Any other suggestions much appreciated as I am an AA Recovery Driver and I constantly use the 'browse map' feature to pinpoint POI's that I want to head towards.

You didn't say if you've checked that they are enabled to show on the map.

There are a few steps needed to get this working right ....

Go to the 'Browse map' screen
Tap "Options" at the bottom

Now, firstly you should see a screen with "Traffic". "POIs", "Favourites", and "Images"

Is "Traffic" ticked? If it is, that automatically DE-SELECTS all the others. Incredibly annoying! But unfortunately you can't have the map showing Traffic AND POIs both at the same time.

So... un-tick "Traffic" - you must do this before anything else becomes tickable.

Now, is "POIs" ticked? If not, tick it!

At the bottom should now appear another box called "Choose POIs"
Tap it!
Are the ones you want to see ticked?

If they ARE ticked, they should show on the "browse map" screen and all the time on the main navigation screen

If they are not ticked, but you have set up "warn when near" for them in "Manage POIs" then they won't show up on the Browse map, but will pop up on the main navigation screen, this time only when they are within the warning range you set,

That should sort you out. Smile

But... you are quite likely to find that the next time you go to the Browse map screen, the TomTom has "helpfully" switched it back to showing "Traffic" only, so you will have to go back and de-select it all over again to get the POIs showing once more. (Drives me mad!)
