I have been using my GO730 over the last couple of days and have noticed that the GPS signal appears to be dropping even on long, straight stretches of motorway. It sometimes comes back within seconds or on a journey yesterday it dropped for about 20mins and never returned. This was after a 1.5 hour journey.

I assume this is my SatNav playing up but can anyone provide any further opinions as to what is happening, why it's happening and what I can do about it (if anything) or whether it is terminal?

Thank you

R

Give it a go with the Clear Flash Tool. Run it at least three times and don't be concerned if it doesn't say anything has happened - it's a particularly uninformative bit of software. But it often cures all manner of ills.

Tell me you have backups created by using Windows Explorer.

Thanks Dennis. Will give that a bash once I get my docking station out of storage and I definitely have a back-up (thanks to this website).

It seems strange why this has happened. I used it about 2 weeks ago and it seemed fine., haven't touched it since and now it's doo-lally!

Thanks
