Heat reflective windscreens - Vauxhall vectra

Im looking at purchasing a GlobalSat: BC-307 Compact Flash GPS Receiver to use as a SATNAV system along with my IPAQ 2210 and TOMTOM navigator 3.

Ive got a Vauxhall Vectra model c (2003 registration) which I believe has got a heat reflective windscreen.

I was wondering, will this have any major effect on this GPS device?, will it work ok?.

oh yes. Especially if you plan to use a CF receiver. You will want to think about an external antenna with a MMCX connector so you can place the antenna in a spot behind the rearview mirror (which is normally not coated) or in one of the corners (ditto). Or you rethink and get a BT receiver that you can place arbitraily in the car, for example somewhere on the back. Even a serial receiver is better in that situation.
