I have your database installed on my Nuvi 350, I also have Liz chime/voice warning installed. This set up works fine around towns and I am happy to be warned of Gatsos/red light cameras etc.

The one niggle is that on Motorways just about every bridge has a mobile camera warning, now I realise that there is a potential for there to be a camera unit and a warning is required, however "bong bong bong warning, unverified mobile camera ahead, speed limit 70 MPH" 2 or 3 times at every bridge is a bit annoying after a while. Is there anyway of mixing a voice warning for gatso, red light and specs cameras but use a different alert, maybe a quick police siren blast, for mobiles etc.

I have done a search but couldn't find an answer, thanks in anticipation, Rich.

I am not a Garmin user, so I haven't downloaded the warnings for Garmin. However, looking at the installation instructions, I rather think that it would be possible to mix and match - use your preferred Liz for all warnings except Provisionals, and use some other warnings for those.

The instructions do also mention editing sound files using Audacity (free download). Having used Audacity myself (and I'm an utter amateur, not a clever geek), I would find it fairly easy to edit the provisional warnings to get them to my liking - I did so using the siren part of the pgpsw warning, edited to add voice warnings recorded by my grandchildren (not superb, but quite good enough to impress their nanny and earn me brownie points, as she hears them alongside me).
