My TT500 is getting a bit tired and its about time I replaced it.
Thinking the 550 Live is a good option.
Just one question I've a Arkon Bean bag mount and just wonder if the style of suction mount the 550 uses is comapatible with the Arkon? |

I've just looked at the Arkon Bean bag mount GN112 on YouTube & compared it to the mount on my 550 & would say yes. The sucker base is just under 70mm you can get a full 90 degrees between the mount & the face of the x50 TomTom - If you want a photo of the base pm me |

The normal mount for the x50 should be OK as Ian has mentioned, be aware though that the RDS-TMC mount has very restricted movement so that specific mount probably won't be any use.
I appreciate you haven't mentioned the RDS mount but just in case.... - Mike |

Thanks for replies guys.
Did wonder if the mount had enough movement to be used with the Arkon.
Well I went and bought a 550 Live today, £149 at Comet which was cheapest price I could find and only £10 more than refurb unit from TT.
Not had chance to open the box yet so I'll be checking the mount situation during the week. |
