Hi folks,

First off, I would like to say thanks for a fantastic app. I always used to use the database for my TomTom on the Nokia and really missed it when I got the iPhone. It's a really great product!

I do however have a question regarding the mobile speed cameras and the directional working of the app:

I can understand that for Gatso's it will only alert you when you are travelling in the direction that the Gatso works - fantastic idea and stops lots of alerts for no reason.

However, I think that it should alert for either direction when it is a mobile speed camera and currently it doesn't seem to. Is it possible to implement a setting that would allow it to do this?

Thanks
Rob

Where mobile cameras are known to operate targeting motorists in both directions, we alert for that. But most set up in positions that target a single direction only and so we warn for that direction alone.

Thanks for the reply - that makes sense.

I was more concerned if you had a dozy moment and should have spotted the mobile speed camera 'monitoring' the speed of vehicles going the other way that they could quite easily 'monitor' your speed if you missed them when you'd gone past.

It probably doesn't work that way and isn't an issue, but thought I would ask anyway.

Thanks for your help
Rob
