My 2009 Qashqai suddenly won't load new speed camera data. I am loading CSV data and it starts OK but then the screen goes blank, radio goes off. Screen recovers but no POIs have been loaded. I have tried resetting the Nissan Connect factory settings, different memory sticks, all to no avail. |

We've quite a few customers using the Connect data so I'd expect more complaints if there was some issue with the data itself.
Have you installed previous versions successfully or is this your first attempt? _________________ Darren Griffin |

painscough, we recently (last week?) changed the file structure for Nissan Connect to give a better end-user experience.
to see if it is the new format causing issues I have reactivated the 'old' format. please can you try with the download called: Nissan Connect (old) and see if that works?

Thanks Darren and MaFt,
I have been loading data ever since I got the car (June 2009) and this is the first sign of trouble, I'll try the old data set tomorrow evening and let you know how I get on.

Great News, the Nissan Connect (Old) data file loaded perfectly as it used to do. Many thanks for sorting this. Will you continue to support the 'Old' file format or change the 'New' format into a compatible form?
Thanks again,

now we know we still need to offer the 'old' version we will keep it available!
i have now re-added all the other country versions for the downloads.
all we need to do now is work out which versions of the hardware will need the 'old' version of the database!
