Installed Telmap 5 using the 9700 version and it works quite well! It is not possible to use the virtual keyboard but only the real keyboard. The application features are to be selected all by trackpad. Used several time and never stopped both in landscape or portrait mode.

I suggest on the next version of Telmap to put an option to activate the GPS directly from the application if not active withou going on device option and after going back to Telmap.
