Have a look at the Maplin web site for some additional information (click Here) Rather scant at the moment but it does confirm the existance of the device - Mike |

Multiple press releases on TT website about the VIA range - all our problems will soon be a thing of the past. _________________ Mike R [aka Wyvern46]

It's called the VIA range as it takes you via somewhere you didn't want to go. _________________ Drivelux |

Are you going by the complete guesses at prices from that Pocket Lint 'review'?
Iwould take comments like "No word on pricing, as yet, but we would expect it to cost around the same price as the XL which currently sells in the UK for around £160 - just don't hold us to that." with a very large pinch of salt!
Trust me, it's going to be more expensive than the 1000. |

Well if it's any guidance, Tesco are now listing (although not available) both the 1000 and 1005.
The GB 1000 is listed as £249.97.
The EU 1000 is listed as £279.97.
The 1005 is listed as £299.97, and described as havng "UK & full roads of all Europe".
None are available as yet and just say that they will be available from September 2010.
Regards
Iain

If this is the case we may get some hefty discounting of the x50 range? _________________ Mike R [aka Wyvern46]
