With old XL Live IQ Routes Europe (what a mouthful!!) and with my even older GO 730 I had similar display when on the move.

The screen showed the road ahead with the car heading straight up the page.

With my new GO 950 Live I often get a map showing a much larger area and the car moving along one of the roads. The movement of the car can be any direction on the screen. I would like to revert to the far simpler display with the car moving up the screen

I am wondering if this has something to do with 2D and 3D displays. I understand the fundamental difference between the two but I not sure whether this 2D/3D function has something to do with the display i am getting.

Can anyone offer me any assistance?

3D will show you the horizon near the top of the screen, the car remains in a fixed position botton center of the map.

2D Heading up will show you a 2D Map with no horizon, the car will always point to the top of the screen, the map rotates as you change direction.

2D North Up, the map i fixed to show North at the top of the screen, the car will move around depending upon your direction.

You want the second item from those listed above - Mike
