navigator 7 on mio 168

2003se is Version 4.21.1088 Build14235.2.0.0, It also states it is Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition so I presume yours has not been updated , As far as I am aware this was not a Mio Issue update but was freely available on the internet along with instructions, This update is as far as you can go with the Mio168, The other way to check is to see if you can add Rotate screen in the buttons configeration menu if not then it wouls seem that you are on plain 2003, the main benefit to upgarding is the screen rotate which makes word processing and using spreadsheets a more viable option on the Mio and not sure but I think it gave a slight speed increase, it is acouple of years ago since i did mine and have look in my archives to see if still got it.

sorry about the late reply, i said i was new to all this, didnt realise there is a second page!!!!!!!!!!!, anyway thanks for the info, i will have a look to see if i can find the se upgrade on the net and see how we go, but def. no screenrotate on either of my devices

Yes managed to find complete set for updating in my archive including instructions to big to email so will have look at uploading so you can download , if you will pm me your addy i will email instructions and comments if you want to go that way.

seems to me i am pretty much sorted now, the upgrade to 2003se works a treat and new nav software great..... happy days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
