I just upgraded my TT to the latest software and maps (I think) but cos everything has now changed I can't even see how to find my version numbers of what I have got installed. Can someone please enlighten me. And is there still the problem of HD Live not working with the latest software, I did the upgrade without thinking.

| to find your latest version loaded tap bottom right of screen and it should say version 8.351 |

8.351 is the latest for the x30 line of products. From the OP's sig line, he has a 940 which has navcore 9.054 (which is buggy) or 8.371 which is the previous app that works.

The latest Navcore for your 940 is 9,054 but this version is crap due to it breaking the Live services for UK users, the best advice is to use Navcore 8,371 on an x40 there are some instructions on how to do this Here
To check whats loaded to the unit go to the third page of the main menu and select "Status & Information" follwed by "Version Information"
The App is listed on the second line, the map is on the 6th line, currently the latest map is V850 - Mike |

Thanks Mike. Yes, I have installed 9.054 by mistake. I'm not sure I can be bothered to go through the process of working out how to downgrade, I'll live without HD Traffic for the time being. But what a shower TT are. Why don't they even warn you before downloading it that it breaks traffic, it's been known about for long enough.

Its been known about for some considerable time, TomTom only posted their own information page after complaints.
Shame the botched 9,054 is still being offered but this issue seems to only affect UK users and the 940 was sold in plenty of different countries where 9,054 does work on the device! - Mike |
