Active 10 - map card backup

Ive purchased a site centered map card and would like a backup, i'm working on the assumption that I copy all files from card to PC.

BUT i gather the map is locked to the card its supplied on so what happens if the supplied card itself was damaged ?

If the card was damaged then you would have to contact Sat Map directly for them to resolve, the only option available to an end user is to format the supplied card and reload the back up taken from when you got the card - Mike
