Does anyone have a link (or even a POI file ) for KOA? THey don't do one on their site ( http://www.koa.com ) and I can't find one after much searching.
Cheers. |

Erm.. I just copied your title "KOA (Kampgrounds of America) POIs" and pasted it straight into Google, and the second result was to the GPS Data Team.com site's US Accomodation POI page. KOA Campgrounds is the first entry.
Maybe I was just lucky!
I've no idea how comprehensive it is because you need to register and pay a fee for the full download, but it seems to be only £4 to do so.
The next "hit" on Google was POIFriend.com
Their download seems to be free (you can ignore the registration box) and it says it contains 172 locations.
I downloaded it and sure enough there are 172 places, mostly round the south east corner - Carolina, Florida, Texas New Mexico, Oklahoma etc. but spreading across to the west coast in California via Arizona
Does that sound about right? |

Aha - my not finding it seemed to be due to a "UK-only" Google restriction I'd set. Thanks for the links - I've signed up & am waiting for log-in details.
Cheers. |
