This sounds positive. I will give them a call to chase mine and see if I get any further information on when they are being sent out. |

Ok just been on the phone to Navigon CS, there answer was that the item is out of stock and it would be sent once back in stock. I asked if there was a timescale for this and was told that they would call be back...so far no phone call.
Skintdad678 - where did you go to get your info was it via email or on the phone? |

Hi,
I started by writing a comment on the Navigon Facebook website. I then followed it up with a message to facebook@navigon.com. I had a couple of replies about it being out of stock and then I sent a stroppy letter back and got the reply I posted earlier. The person I have been conversing with is Un-Hee Lee at Navigon and I have posted all details from the last email below. It might be worth contacting him and if you get a reply, please post here as I am now concerned about the device turning up any time soon.
Hi Trevor
I have good news for you: The current status is that the delivery will begin end of this week, latest beginning of next week.
Thanks for your understanding!
Kind regards
Un-Hee

Though they also said yesterday on Facebook to a german enquirer Quote: | "the first amounts become soon delivered ... a concrete date, unfortunately, we cannot call yet." | It may be that Skintdad678's reply was a little optimistic, or that the first lot have now been dispatched, so that the initial supply has gone out of stock. Either way, I don't think there's anything to worry about (yet! ) _________________ David

Ok here is what I sent and the reply I got back from Uh-Hee
Hi
I hope you do not mind my using your contact details like this but I have an equiry about a product I have ordered from Navigon.
I ordered the above item on the 3rd Sept and was given a delivery date of 2-3 weeks. This period has now passed and as yet the status of my item is still showing as not yet sent.
I have been speaking to other members of a forum who have also ordered the same product and waiting delivery. I believe one of them has been speaking with yourself hence how I got your details. In these conversations there was talk of the stock arriving this week with delivery starting either by the end of the week or early next week.
Please can you confirm that this is the case and that delivery has started or about to start. If not please can you give a relevant and accurate timescale of how long it will take before the items are sent.
Many thanks
and the reply
Hi
That´s right. There has been a delay in the delivery but the product should be delivered beginning of next week.
Best regards
Un-Hee
Not sure what I make of this??? |

OK, as I said earlier in the thread, my 8310 is now on ebay Quote: | "Navigon GPS 8310 Satnav with large (4.8") screen" - Reference No 120626629002 | So if anyone does fancy bidding, remember that if you win the auction (at a price in excess of my P&P costs, of course!) I'll give you a ~10% rebate. All you will have to do is pm me here after the sale is complete with your name & address, plus your email address for Paypal, and I'll cough up. _________________ David

Order placed, for the 70 premium Live. Will i have a new toy to play with by the end of the week i wonder?
Car has built in Sat Nav but needed a mobile one for the van. Was going to go for the new TT1000 but the review on this forum highlighted one or two worrying concerns regarding possible restrictions. So sacked that idea and looked at the Garmin 3790T. Again concerns raised that were not mentioned on other reviews, so sacked that too.
Based on the feedback/reports of the Navigon on here led me to make the choice i did. I trust i won't be disappointed? |

Just recieved an email from Navigon with a pdf invoice for my 70 Live, showing a shipment number and a despatch date of 27th September. Hopefully it will be here soon! |

So did I! I am looking forward to seeing if the wait was worthwhile and hopefully I will receive it in time for a trip to France next week. |

Ahh! Only had a quick look at my invoice and didn't spot the shipping date - thanks for the heads-up! IIRC, when I've had Navigon stuff from Germany, it's taken about 2 days, so you should be ok michaelj2. My ebay sale finishes Sunday evening, so I'm hoping the timing works out ok, as I've got to transfer my Michelin Guides across. _________________ David

There isn't a delivery number on my invoice, however underneath my order number is a shipment number - is this what you are looking for?:
Your order NA927737 of 03.09.10
Shipment No. 331245 of 27.09.10
It is on the left hand side, about a third of the way down the invoice.
My order status on my account (through MyNavigon log in) still shows as "order status: Not sent yet" though.
It would have been good to have a delivery tracking number to see where it is/anticipated delivery date. |

I received 4 shipping confirmations from Navigon with tracking links. I presume I will only get one shipment! |
