no usable locations near cursor

I have been entering coordinates for years into my TT devices (currently a 930) in decimal format N x.xxxxxx, W x.xxxxxx . Today, it's not accepting the coordinates, and it's giving me the message "no usable locations near cursor" instead.

Anyone know what's going on? Thanks.

Just tried it on the 940 v8.371 with 8.50maps and it is working fine.

I believe it tries to use your entered co-ordinates, and locate your destination on a road near to these co-ordinates. If the co-ordinates give a location in the middle of nowhere, it will have difficulty finding a nearby road. Are you sure your co-ordinates are correct?

Can you let us know the co-ordinates you're trying? (Obviously not if it's a sensitive location!)
Or is it ANY coordinates?

Hi SpikeUk, I sometimes get a message like that when I have selected a map which is a different country to the country I am in.
