John, whilst it is possible to get the PGPSW database to work with your device it involves quite a lot of messing about as you have to install a custom menu file to it, configure all the warnings then remove the custom menu file to get the device back to a standard menu. Whilst the above will work at the moment there is no way of knowing whether TomTom will close this method down as they did exactly this when we used the same method on the Start earlier this year - Next update and no support for custom menu's.

If you want reliable Speed Camera support using the acurate database from this site rather than the laughable offering from TomTom then I suggest you take the device back and demand a full refund as the device isn't fit for the intended purpose due to the dumbed down menu and lack of traditionally long established functionality.

Choice is yours from this point on, either purchase an XL IQ original model, another TomTom with the full menu or consider changing brand away from the TomTom range all together - Mike
