I have a refurbished tom tom go 530. Since yesterday the bluetooth will no longer connect to my k810i !!
I have looked at all the settings on the phone and tom tom and can`t see anything obvious.
The tom tom is running on Version 8.351, on the tomtom forum they mention there is a virus. Does this sound correct? If so what can I do about it, in layman`s terms ?
Thank you if you can help..... |

No.......
The issue with application in 8.351 is quite correctly referred to as a 'bug'. It is NOT a virus. That is quite something else, entirely.
The bug causes dropped bluetooth connections frequently as you are experiencing.
Resetting both devices sometimes helps for a few days. _________________ David |

Thank you David. Yes it was `bug` not virus.
I have reset my tom tom and it connected immediately
Is there a more permanent solution to this, or will I have to reset every few days?

Some have reverted to app 8.302 which didn't have this issue. Otherwise, resetting may be the only option as TomTom seems unlikely to provide newer applications for the x20 and x30 series of units, even though they are aware 8.351 has problems. _________________ David |
