Hey Guys

I need some advice, I'm a new iphone user with my business taking me all over the UK. Can anyone suggest a decent app that doesn't cost the earth?

For navigation? You'd be best spending a little and getting a decent navigation app.

Consider TomTom, Navigon, Sygic and CoPilot.

I was thinking for navigation, perhaps an app that will help me identify both fixed and mobile speed cameras as well?

We recommend the CamerAlert app from PocketGPSWorld. I tried a few and none stack up against it very well. There are many reasons why you might choose the PGPSW one over anyone else here

Have you tried any apps? Wink

That wouldn't be a loaded question would it? Surely you have access to an app already given your employ?

Perhaps it's not very good? It (non-PGPSW Speed Camera iPhone App) certainly wasn't when i tried it. I dont think the other 2-4 people using when i tried it liked it much either. They didn't seem to stay "online" for very long at least....

There aren't many apps with bundled speed camera data and of those that exist, none have data that I would consider high quality.

Cheers for the advice, what was the feedback that you got? I've tried using POI and wasn't much pleased with it.

POI Warner I think the company's called. I found that not all mobile speed camera's were being found. Is this a common issue with these sorts of apps?

With yours and POI Warner's yes. Not so much with our though. I presume that's what you're trying to get at?

It was more of a general who has the most accurate database? I'm just trying to gage how competitive the market is at the moment
