Is anyone running TTN6 on an iPAQ HX2110 or TTN7 on HX2490?

I have an iPAQHX2110.

1. I have checked TomTom's compatibility pages and it says I cannot run TTN6 on it - but can on an HX2190 or HX2490 which is odd as they are the same series.

So, is anyone out there running TTN6 on an HX2110?

Incidentally, my HX2110 is running Windows 2003 SE. I guess that this will prevent me running TTN6 even if it is otherwise possible.

2. TTN7's compatibility web page implies that it does not work on any iPAQ, yet people running iPAQ 114s & 214s say it works. I was wondering if anyone is running TTN7 on an HX2490? (I guess it won't run on an HX2110).

(I mention an HX2490 as I have been looking at upgrading to one, second hand. I don't see the point in upgrading to a 214 or 114 as I don't need their features).

3. I have looked at Sygic as an alternative but its website says that its software is only compatible with three HP models - the Data Messenger, Voice Messenger & the iPAQ 6915.

4. I must admit I am considering simply ditching TTN & buying a GO instead. It seems that TTN is being allowed to fall by the wayside. I haven't so far, partially because I haven't found out-of-date maps to be a problem.

I run TTN6 on the two machines you mention. One running on 2003 and one on 2005. Both work fine. Hope this helps.

I too run TTN6 on a HP 2210 without any problems !
I assume that as the 2210 is now a few years old TomTom simply didnt bother to test it.

Yes, I too am running tt7 on an ipaq 2210 and have run both tt5 and tt6 on it. Trusty machines!
