CP8 (WM) Speed up the camera updates

To speed up the camera update process create a shortcut to user_places in the Mobile Device directory and a shortcut to save in user_places.

To update the cameras, start ActiveSync and open Explore. Select the shortcut to user_places and delete the old camera folders. Select the shortcut to save and copy in the new files, (which have already been unzipped after downloading). – Job done.

To create the shortcuts to start with: -

Using Explore in ActiveSync go to \Storage Card\COPILOT\EU\UK Ireland\save (or wherever your user_places folder is).
Copy the user_places folder and then using the drop-down on the back button go back to Mobile Device.
Right click and Paste Shortcut.

Go to \Storage Card\COPILOT (or wherever your save folder is).
Copy the save folder and then using the drop-down on the back button go back to Mobile Device.
Select the short-cut to user_places.
Right click and Paste Shortcut.

Now when you update the cameras just use the shortcuts.
