co pilot 8 speed camers

Hi

I used to have TomTom 6 on a PDA, and the camera database forewarned of the type of camera ie redlight or gatso and also gave the speed limit. Now I have CoPilot 8 on a smartphone.

The database for CoPilot just warns of safety camera ahead, though the icons do show the type of camera.

Is it possible to use the same voice files from TomTom with CoPilot, and how would I go about it?

You might want to visit the dedicated Copilot forum here on PGPSW.

AFAIK it's not possible to change the audible warning on CP8. And as of the latest few versions CP8 is no longer using the custom camera icons and usies the same default CP8 one.
