Hi I'm a new member and I want to hardwire tomtom1 iq routes into Volvo V50 so I cant see the cable.

So what's your question and what exactly do you want to achieve?

Do you just want to install the power lead behind the dash, or are you trying to avoid even seeing the lump of the USB connector in the bottom?
If you just want to hide the majority of the cable, and have it (just for example) coming out of an air-vent like this....(ignore the mount itself - just showing the cable coming through the vent)

Alternatively, you might find one of the custom mount solutions from Brodit, Carcomm, Arkon, or Buybits will do what you want.

If you want to build the whole unit into the dash, remember you'll still have to be able to get to the power switch, as there is no way to get the ONE to switch on with the ignition switch.

Also remember that you still need to use the supplied cigar lighter plug to get 5 volts to device.
