I received my TT Nav 3 2 weeks ago and the software is great (I just think if they added an altitude feature it would become even better!!).
On the other hand, for people who plan on using it in Portugal, their Portuguese map coverage is terrible!!! Very few cities and no towns what so ever are detailed, there are a number of important roads and towns missing and a great deal of errors on the maps as well (town with wrong names, roads that do not exist and that show on the map, roads with worng names or nrs., etc.). It's a real pitty because the software is really great.
The above problems become even more irritating if you compare the Portuguese map details with the Spanish ones - I guess the Spaniards are more important to Tom Tom (or to their map supplier!!!!)
Does anyone know how often Tom Tom updates their maps? |

Thanx Steve.
Have you any idea how much they charge for these updates? |

I seem to remember it being about £30, but someone here will know the exact figure. The last update to TT3 did include updates to the Western Europe maps - if you previously had them - free of charge if you paid for the GB update.
