Hi
Check and see if you have device set to kph or mph it needs to be set to mph.
19 mph is 30 kph

Have you installed the mobile POIs and perhaps the pMobile POI?
Are they visible in the POI Alerts menu? _________________ Darren Griffin |

Have you installed the EUR speed cam files instead of UK? EUR are in KPH, you need UK files for UK as stated on the download page. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Are you using the TomTom Safety camera database? if so the incorrect warning speeds are a known feature/ bug with the recent updates to their software, they are currently looking at a way to fix this issue.
As for a lack of mobile cameras, get used to it as the TomTom database is hopeless in this area, if you want a decent camera warning system consider putting the files from this site on the device - Mike |

You won't fix the incorrect speed issue until TomTom release a new Navcore that address this problem, as for when this will happen is anyones guess.
Re-installing everything will simply waste your time, bear in mind the fixed cameras within TomTom's camera database are directional which might explain whey you sometimes don't get warnings.
If protection against Mobile camera locations is important to you consider installing the database from this site as it contains locations where mobile cameras are known to operate from - better to get a warning and find no camera van parked up than no warning at all which is what you currently have - Mike |

I usually tell people to load both databases so they can actually tell the difference, after a week or two they can delete the inferiour product, your device will be quite happy running both sets of data.
If you really want to remove the TT Safety cameras go to the FAQ page near the top of this forum index page and there is a full set of instructions on what is needed to get them off the device - Mike |

I have subscribed to the camera database and removed the tomtom data base. I have got the files copied to the tomtom and avctivated via manage poi ,i have done a demo route were the cameras are showing but no warning sound. I have gone through the procedure again and the camera poi is showing a speaker and a check ,any idea what i am doing wrong. Thanks |
