540 not charging when docked

Hi

Recently I've noticed my 540 isn't charging whilst on the dock when attached to my mac. The light just stays green and gradually the battery runs flat. It seems to charge when connected to the in car dock though. Any ideas?

It could be dust in the connector on the dock itself. Try giving it a blow to see if that dislodges anything.

When it's connected to the Mac, if you choose NOT to connect the the computer (so you can use it as normal), does it say "charging" by the battery indicator when you tap the status bar?

Also, do you have a standard USB cable that you could try instead?
