Garmin Nuvi 205

I know nothing about Garmin devices. A friend has asked if this model would be suitable as an entry level gift to a friend. Amazon selling it for £70.
Any advice please? The alternative, which I recommended is a TomTom One Regional v3 refurbished from TT Outlet at £75.

A very good choice IMO. Simple to learn and use, reliable, quick sat lock. Only thing he might want that is missing is Text-to-Speech, which means it won't say actual street names. But otherwise a very solid device that should serve your friend well as a gift.
