Amendments to software

I have TT2 on my ipaq, but it is seriously out of date so I get given wrong turnings etc. How can I or is it possible to update the software as changes are made all the time to roads/junctions etc.

Hi Paqman,

The obvious solution would be to upgrade to TTNav3, which is only €49.00 for registered users, or free to users who registered TTNav2 after 18th January 2004.

However no electronic map will ever be entirely up to date. This is because each software house (e.g. TomTom) has to take the data from the mapping company (e.g. Tele Atlas) and convert/compress it into something small enough to use on a PDA. This process takes time. The new M6 toll road isn’t in the TTNav3 data.
