I recently got offered a discounted rate for a year of TT Australia Safety cam subscription. Curious to compare to other Australian safety cam data, I took up the offer. Pulled the first download data from the unit and went to view the ov2 file with poiedit. Stated it was an invalid ov2. Is there a trick to view TT's safety cam file, I want to compare to other data I have collected.

TT use encrypted OV2 files which means that you can't view them in the way you want to. Neither can you view them on the TT screen.
On the other hand with PGPSW you can do both. |

The TomTom ov2 files are encrypted and not viewable/editable like regular ov2 files. Also, as they are not viewable on the 'browse map', it's not easy to compare to other databases.
Some may say that this is to stop people being able to see how good/bad the data is but I'm not going to comment.

As usual, quick accurate info re questions, thanks guys, thought they might have been encrypted when not viewable with poiedit.
