The Arkon bean bag has a polished disc on the top to which the suction mount sticks perfectly. The bean bag itself is quite heavy and has a rubberised base - it has never moved on either of our cars.

Is it reliable? Does it works 99% of the time?

I know with the air vent mount the sucker is not required so I am only getting that based on the fact I know I can slip the TT on the mount no problems.

Like others here, I also have an Arkon Bean Bag with the Arkon Suction Mount for my TT Go730. For the money (20GBP from BlueUnplugged 3 months ago), I think that it represents excellent value. The bean bag is rock solid and stays where it is put no matter how precariously near the edge of the dashboard I place it or balanced on top of the radio "mound" . The suction mount is detachable (in case you would rather stick it to the windscreen) and is articulated horizontally and vertically with a thumb screw on each joint to ensure that it does not alter from the position you set it at. It is about the only thing I have bought for my TT that I have no hesitation in recommending to others. You will not be disappointed.

Nothing beats self adhesive Velcro. Mount it anywhere on the dashboard and no window marks. Great stuff.

Is the suction of the TT easy mount going to stick to the service of the bean bag every time?

Not going to be unreliable like it is with the windscreen?

The hard surface of the Arkon bean bag is absolutely flat and the suction cup sticks very well. In my experience, it is only when the surface is curved (as in a windscreen) that the grip is unreliable

Guys happy to know I have figured out how to use my Easyport mount. Which means I don't need to purchase a bean bag or another suction mount.

For those who found the easy port difficult to stick to the window like me. The trick is, is to turn the mount clockwise and anti-clockwise several times. This creates a vacuum.

I've always turned it one way think that should suck but it doesn't. I thought turning it left made it suck and right made it release air but it doesn't. It only releases air when it is stuck to something. As long as you press hard against the window and turn clockwise and anti-clockwise several times you stop the air escaping.

Saved myself £10 on a product I didn't want. Very Happy
