Would it make you feel any better, Dennis, to know that I paid the same as you for UK&ROI map updates for my 720! _________________ Anita

Same here £27.80 or as TT say, from £6.95 per quarter. However this morning I received an £8 voucher which can be used against services. Not much use now I have just subscribed again. _________________ Drivelux |

I received the same voucher but there are several restrictions........
Terms and conditions
Each voucher code is valid for one transaction at www.tomtom.com, when its full value will be deducted.
Your voucher code cannot be redeemed against Map Update Services and LIVE Services rolling subscription.
Your voucher code cannot be redeemed against discounted items.
Your voucher code must be used in the web shop of your country of registration and is not exchangeable for cash.
Your voucher code cannot be redeemed via TomTom HOME.
Each device owner may only redeem one voucher code.
Your voucher code is valid until 14th of December 2009.
Not sure why I got my Update for £19.80
I just went on the TomTom site and it said to log into Home for a personalised quote for continuing with Map Updates.

Dennis, I reckon they check the forums to see what you've been saying about them before giving you a quote..... |

Nah! If you investigate further, you'll find a corner where it says the £19.80 maps are rubbish. You might also find another corner where it says the £27.80 maps are a ripoff. There are at least two further corners which say the £19.80 maps and the £27.80 maps are a good little earner!
And I've had two £8 voucher offers so far - only another 6 current email registration addresses to go! _________________ Dennis

Two of them are obesiting!! |

Read the small print, map updates are not included in the offer AFAIK - neither can they be used in multiple codes against a single purchase - Mike |

In fact the vouchers are worthless to 99.9% of the world population. _________________ GO 620, Tomtom Android EU,

They just about cover the postage cost on anything you buy at full price from TT instead of cheaper in Halfords in the first place |
