Improvements to the Directional Info in Database

As you will be aware, CoPilot 7 and 8 both make use of directional warnings in the speed camera database BUT they lack any facility for reversible cameras.

Up until now we have simply removed the directional data from every reversible camera to ensure that all reversible cameras alerted in every direction for example: GATSO:12345@30 heading 90 would have become GATSO:12345@30 (no heading).

From today's database release (7.112) reversible cameras are now given a duplicate entry with the corresponding direction/heading an marked as '(R)' i.e.:
GATSO:12345@30 heading 90
AND
GATSO(R):12345@30 heading 270

have the same coordinates but opposing heading values so will warn in either direction but not if you are driving across the road.

So if you were wondering why the number of cameras in each download has suddenly increased then this is why!

Maybe there's been a thread about this, but I can't seem to find one:

As I understand it, camera directional info only works for CoPilot V8 on iPhones and Android - not WinMo. But it works on WinMo for V7. Is that right?
(I have V8 on WinMo and camera warnings aren't directional.)

Do we know why they don't work on WinMo for V8, and is it a bug (in CoPilot) that's likely to be fixed or is it a 'feature'?
