I need a new remote for my 940. Why does the TT website show the bluetooth remote as only supporting the X50 series, and also why does it show as not available from TomTom anyway. _________________ Tony

No idea, maybe a misprint on the site but you can buy them cheaper elsewhere and I use one on my 940. _________________ Drivelux |

Its probably a mistake as the BT Remote will work with any x20, x30, x40 or x50 device, just take some shares out in Duracell before you get one as they eat batteries for fun - Mike |

Like 3 hours ? That's why I'm replacing it, I would be happy with a couple of weeks. _________________ Tony

I am still on the original battery after a year, although it has not been heavily used. _________________ Drivelux |

I've already had 3 of the bluetooth remotes and none of them have been very good battery wise, although this latest is just straight faulty. Incidentally my original 910 remote battery is still going strong after 3 years. Why on earth they had to take the backward step of going to bluetooth I will never know - and yes I would rather have the problem of certain people on this forum playing tricks on me in traffic. _________________ Tony

Can anyone also tell me why the Tomtom website says the remote is not available for purchase from TomTom - surely it's a TomTom product. Or with my cynical hat on is it temporary so I can't spend my £8 voucher towards it. _________________ Tony
