(v8 WinMob) How do I transfer Favourites from CPL7 to CPL8?

Can anyone tell me how to transfer Favourites from CPL7 to CPL8? I have trawled their user guide and faqs but cannot find any mention of how to do it.

Not very good at this computer stuff so a step-by-step idiot guide would be much appreciated.

1. Using activesync explore, copy FAVORITE.LST from \copilot\EU\save found in Copilot 7 storage card directory to a directory on your PC.
2. Rename the file to FAVORITES.LST
3. Copy the file (using activesync) to Copilot\EU\UK Ireland\save to Copilot directory on storage card. This will overwrite the existing favorites.lst file (Note the spelling)

Your favourites will now appear when you start Copilot 8

YokelBoy, thank you so much for your help! I had tried the same thing earlier but had not noticed the subtle difference in the spelling of the file names i.e. singular to plural.

Unfortunately when I followed your instructions I ended up with my last thirty or so destinations as "Favorites"!!!

I then decided to try renaming another file in the same directory from "stopfavs.lst" to "favourites.lst" and it worked a treat!!!!!

I am so pleased with Co Pilot Live 8, the programme is absolutely superb and a definate improvement on CPL7, which in itself was way better than anything Tom Tom (sorry didn't mean to swear) had to offer. Having bought TTN6 and to be dumped with no upgrade path or support for Windows Mobile I will never buy any products from that company again, ever.

Thanks once again for pointing me in the right direction, thanks to this forum I now have the most up to date speed cams on my Pocket PC and also my favourites which I have collected over many miles of travel.
