iPAQ 2210, ROM 1.10
Fortuna Clip-on
TT3

I was having Bluetooth drop-out issues with TT3/GPS 3.0x so I downgraded to 2.07 as many people have had success with this combination.

However, when using 3.02 I noticed my Nokia CK-1W/6310i dropped out several times, which it never does. Confused

I downgraded to 2.07 and sitting at my desk I ran my clip-on from a full charge until it switched off, not one drop out.

Today I was on the road again and for the first two hours, every time I used the phone the iPAQ/clip-on lost connection (5 or 6 times). It didn't happen after my appointment (I guess the whole lot had been reset by virtue of me leaving the car) but in the two hours drive back home I had 5 more drop outs.

I just don't know what to to do now.... :|

All input welcome.

That gives the impression that there's a Bluetooth driver or firmware problem with the 2210 - possibly something like the 2210 not frequency hopping correctly.

This would lend some credence to the idea elsewhere in the forums that a beta Bluetooth patch for the 2210 might sort the problem. See here for that thread - though looking at the poll results, it's not looking that promising.

The problem is dealing with 4 manufacturers - TT, HP, Fortuna and Nokia.

They are all brand leaders and from the feedback I see they are all difficult to get sensible answers out of. Crying or Very sad

I'd better book a week off work to make the calls!!!! :|
