8450 / 8410 technical spec corrupt pdf and screen resolution

There is a pdf on the Navigon site that I can't download : my acrobat says the file is corrupted. Is it mirrored anywhere, and indeed does it give anything interesting away?

The screen is the biggest yet --5 inches: is its resolution enhanced compared to earlier models does anyone know?

With earlier models they seemed to increase the physical size but use the same number of dots, so things didn't get much better as you payed for increased size...

There is a user guide for the 8410 on the site - go to Support, FAQ, and search on '8410'. What is the link for your corrupt file?

OK answered my own question pretty much :

8410 has a 480 x 272 pixel (WQVGA)

The 8310/8110 and the 33xx/43xx's have the SAME reseolution of 480 x 272 pixel (WQVGA) (Source: User Manuals - Technical Specifications).

This interest of mine was born from having used a much earlier navigon (a 6300 approx 5 years old) which ran at 320x240 on a 3.5 inch screen


So it looks as though the screens are bigger, than the older models, but won't be able to display any more "stuff". I almost wonder if this is a software rather than hardware thing....
