|
|
Hi
I am about to embark on 3 week driving trip to Spain. We will be staying in around 6 cities. I don't want to work miracles, but it would help me (as navigator) if I could have street maps of the cities within, say, a mile or two of the hotel.
I have created my own images from openstreetmap and I have loaded one onto my Garmin Oregon 300 (called the file GMAPSUPP.IMG just as advised by talkytoaster http://sites.google.com/site/talkytoasteruk/ukmaps/free-uk-maps-faq
But can I get 6 maps loaded? and can I switch between them when I don't have a PC connection?
Any help greatly appreciated |

Rather than go thru a very lengthy explanation of the Garmin mapset naming convention, take a look at this thread. A very thorough description that should help you get them loaded.
