Garmin 865T & VIB11

I have searched the forum but can find little mention of a Garmin Nuvi (800 series) and the VIB 11 unit? Has anyone any experience with them? I have had terrible trouble with the VIB I think it has a fundimental design flaw which Garmin are reluctant to acknowlege. The VIB cannot switch from playing MP3 (or listening to the radio) if a speedcam alert comes through or voice direct is issued.

Garmin have been efficent if ineffective, but are clearly not understanding the problem.

Is there anyone on the forum using a Nuvi with a VIB?

Thankyou for you reply Phil, I have read the link and agree it is the same symptoms as my setup.

Garmin recently upgraded my 860T to an 865T as the 'bluetooth' had failed and they had no 860s available I am greatful they did that but it has no addressed the problems I returned the 860 to fix.

After further phone calls they want me to return the VIB and the 865T and the wiring loom I made. I know the thisng is installed correctly and the wiriing loom is OK.

I am convinced the problem lies in the VIB which nearly does what its claimed to do. Its just making Garmin understand where the problem is.
